This genuine Motorcraft HVAC blower motor assembly is the cabin fan-and-motor unit that draws interior or outside air through the heater core and evaporator and pushes it out the dash, floor, and defrost vents. It fits 2000-2007 Ford Focus and 2010-2013 Ford Transit Connect models using this front climate system, and includes the fan wheel so it installs as a complete unit in the blower housing. When the motor wears, the bushings and brushes deteriorate and produce airflow that works only on the highest fan setting, operation that comes and goes, a squeal, tick, or grind from behind the dash, a burning odor, or a total loss of airflow. As an OEM Motorcraft component the motor matches the original current draw and speed calibration so the heater and air conditioning behave as designed, and it drops into the factory mounting location for a direct fit. Check that the electrical connector matches your harness, seat the assembly so the housing seals and does not whistle, and inspect the blower resistor or speed control if the replacement runs at only one speed after installation.
