  This genuine Motorcraft A/C manifold hose and tube assembly is the refrigerant discharge line for Ford Ranger, Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer, and Explorer Sport Trac models equipped with the 4.0L SOHC V6 engine. The assembly combines a flexible high-pressure hose with formed metal tube sections and the manifold fittings that route refrigerant from the compressor into the condenser and receiver circuit. Its molded connections carry O-ring sealed joints designed to hold high system pressure. Owners replace this line when it develops a refrigerant leak at a crimp or coupling, when the rubber portion cracks or chafes through against the body or engine, when oily residue and leak dye appear at a fitting, or when the A/C gradually loses its charge and stops blowing cold.
