• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford headlamp bulb, a high-beam capsule used in Mustang and other Ford applications. The bulb produces light from a tungsten filament inside a sealed glass capsule and plugs into the headlamp housing to provide the high-beam function for nighttime and open-road driving. As a direct-fit replacement it carries the correct base and output so it seats in the factory headlamp socket and aims through the existing optics. Owners replace this bulb when a high beam has gone dark, flickers, or has dimmed with age, when the filament has burned out, or when the glass has clouded or cracked. A burned-out high-beam bulb leaves reduced forward lighting when the brights are needed. Built to Ford specifications, the bulb provides the correct base, wattage, and beam character to install in the factory headlamp housing without modification. Because this bulb is shared across several applications, confirm it matches your headlamp socket before ordering.
