This is a genuine Ford air cleaner-to-turbo inlet duct for the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel in Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans, applicable to the early configuration built to the 5/05 production point. The duct carries filtered intake air from the air cleaner to the turbocharger inlet, and it must seal well so unfiltered air cannot bypass the filter. A cracked, collapsed, or poorly sealing duct lets in dust, makes induction noise, and can disturb mass-airflow readings. Built to Ford specifications for shape, diameter and end fittings, this OEM duct matches the factory routing and clamps without modification; confirm the early build before ordering, since later trucks differ. Fitting the correct duct restores a sealed, properly routed intake.
