• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford fuel filter and fuel-water separator element for the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel in F-250 through F-450, the Excursion and E-Series vans, and it also serves the 4.5L VT275; this is the Motorcraft FD-4616 element. The filter removes contaminants and separates water from the diesel fuel before it reaches the injection system, protecting the high-pressure components from abrasive debris and corrosion. A clogged or saturated filter causes power loss, hard starting, and rough running. Built to Ford specifications for media, capacity and sealing, this OEM element installs with its included seals and matches the factory housing. Fitting the correct filter restores clean, dry fuel delivery. Replace the element on the recommended service interval, drain water from the separator as needed, renew the supplied seals each time, prime the fuel system per the factory procedure, and check for leaks after starting.
