  This is a genuine Ford EGR coolant heater-tube O-ring, a connector seal, for the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel in Super Duty trucks, sealing the heater tube connection at the timing cover area. The O-ring keeps coolant contained where the tube connects, and a hardened or nicked seal weeps coolant and can lead to low-coolant warnings. It is a single-use sealing item that should be renewed whenever the connection is opened, since the original takes a set. Built to Ford material and dimensional specifications, it resists coolant and heat and matches the factory groove so it seats fully. Fitting the correct seal restores a clean, sealed coolant connection.
