  This genuine Ford Motorcraft filter is the internal transmission fluid screen and filter assembly for the 5R110W TorqShift automatic, cataloged as a screen assembly under base number 7A098 and sold as Motorcraft FT-144. It fits 2003 through 2008 Super Duty applications including the F-250 and F-350 along with the Excursion and E-Series vans behind the 6.0L and 6.4L Power Stroke diesel, the engines paired with the 5R110W. Mounted inside the transmission pan, the filter draws fluid up to the pump and traps clutch material, metal, and debris so that only clean fluid circulates through the valve body, clutches, and torque converter.
