This genuine Ford crankcase vent valve is the crankcase ventilation valve and filter housing for the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel built from 2003 to 2010, including the 4.5L found in some vans. Applications include the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, the Excursion, and the E-350 vans. The crankcase ventilation system relieves crankcase pressure and separates oil from the blow-by gases, and a clogged or failed vent valve can lead to excessive crankcase pressure, seal leaks, or oil carryover. Replacing a deteriorated unit with the correct original equipment part restores proper crankcase venting. This part replaces 4C3Z-6A665-AA, 4C3Z-6A665-AB, 4C3Z-6A665-BA, and 6E7Z-6A665-AA. As original equipment it matches the factory mounting and porting, so it installs in the original location without adaptation.
