• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford intake manifold gasket for the 6.0L and 6.4L Power Stroke diesel in F-250, F-350, E-350 and Excursion applications. It seals the intake manifold to the engine so the charge air path stays sealed and the engine breathes correctly. The gasket is a single-use sealing item and should be renewed whenever the manifold is removed, since the original compresses to its sealing shape and will not reseal reliably once disturbed. Built to Ford material and dimensional specifications, it matches the factory port pattern and seats correctly when the manifold is torqued in the proper sequence. Note that this application typically uses more than one gasket per job, so plan accordingly. Fitting the correct gasket restores a sealed intake. Clean the surfaces fully, orient the gasket correctly, follow the factory torque sequence, and check for leaks after warm-up.
