  This is a genuine Motorcraft PCV valve, the positive crankcase ventilation valve that routes blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake to be re-burned, controlling crankcase pressure and cutting emissions and sludge buildup. Working off manifold vacuum, it acts as a calibrated one-way valve that regulates flow so the crankcase stays sealed and the idle stays stable. This valve fits Ford F-150 New Body Style 2004-2008 and the Lincoln Mark LT with the modular Triton V8, part of the broader Ford application range that shares this valve, so confirm the engine and grommet fit before ordering.
