Applications include the F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty, the Excursion, and the E-350 and E-450. The harness carries current from the glow plug control system to the glow plugs on that bank, supporting reliable cold-start performance. A damaged or corroded harness can cause hard starting in cold weather or glow-plug circuit faults. This part is the right-side unit and pairs with the left-side 4C2Z-12A690-BA; the even base number corresponds to the passenger side. As original equipment it matches the factory connector layout and lead lengths, so it routes and plugs in correctly.
