• Description:

  Genuine Ford OEM positive crankcase ventilation valve for the 2004 through 2025 F-150, Mustang, Ranger, Mariner, Montego, and Sable, supplied as an assembly that includes the PCV hose. This suffix supersedes the earlier 4L5Z-6A666-AA and crosses with Motorcraft EV-267 and EV-300. The PCV valve controls crankcase blow-by gas flow into the intake manifold, and on these applications the OEM service kit ships with the valve and the connecting hose as a matched assembly. The hose is included because the OE rubber hardens with age and seals poorly against a new valve, so Ford specifies replacing both as a unit. non-OEM PCV valves in this fitment commonly ship without the hose and the installer reuses a hardened OE hose, which leaks after a few thermal cycles and returns the original rough-idle complaint. Sold as a complete kit. Inspect the valve cover grommet and the intake manifold port for residue buildup at the same service; heavy carbon at either location indicates the previous PCV had been failing for some time. Replace the engine air filter at the same service if it shows oil staining.
