  This is the genuine Ford engine block plug, in the 16mm size, for the 6.0L and 6.4L Power Stroke turbo diesel. The plug seals a casting or galley opening in the engine block, retaining coolant or oil within its passage depending on location and keeping the engine's internal fluids contained. It fits 2005 to 2010 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty and E-350 with the 6.0L and 6.4L diesel. A block plug is replaced when the original has corroded, begun to seep, or been removed during engine cleaning, machining or rebuilding.
