• Description:

  This genuine Ford water pump gasket fits the 6.0L Power Stroke turbo diesel built from 2005 to 2010, covering the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, the Excursion, and the E-250 and E-350 vans, for water pumps built from April 18, 2005. The gasket seals the water pump to the engine, providing a coolant-tight joint so the cooling system holds pressure and does not weep at the pump. It is included with the water pump assembly, and it should be replaced whenever the water pump is removed or serviced rather than reused, since a used gasket can take a set and leak. As original equipment it matches the factory sealing profile and material, so it seats correctly without additional sealant unless the procedure specifies it. When installing, clean both sealing surfaces thoroughly, confirm the gasket locates in its features, install the water pump, torque the fasteners in the proper sequence, then refill and bleed the cooling system with the correct coolant.
