• Description:

  This genuine Ford engine front cover gasket fits the left/driver position on the 3.0L DOHC Duratec V6. It seals the timing front cover to the block on that bank and pairs with the center and right gaskets to keep engine oil contained at the front of the engine. Applications include the Fusion built from 2006 to 2012, the Five Hundred, Escape, Freestyle, Sable, Montego, Milan, Lincoln MKZ, and Zephyr equipped with the 3.0L Duratec V6. This part replaces the earlier F5RZ-6020-C. As an original equipment gasket it matches the factory port shape, thickness, and material, so it locates and seals without additional sealant. Because front cover leaks are a recognized service point on this engine, replacing all three cover gaskets as a set whenever the cover is removed gives the most durable result. Thoroughly clean both mating surfaces, seat the gasket in its locating features, and torque the front cover fasteners in the factory sequence for a flat, leak-free seal.
