• Description:

  This genuine Ford engine front cover gasket fits the right/passenger position on the 3.0L DOHC Duratec V6. It seals the timing front cover to the block on that bank, keeping engine oil contained and preventing the front-of-engine oil leaks that develop as the original gasket ages and hardens. Applications include the Fusion built from 2006 to 2012, the Five Hundred, Escape, Freestyle, Sable, Montego, Milan, Lincoln MKZ, and Zephyr equipped with the 3.0L Duratec V6. This part replaces the earlier F5RZ-6020-A. Because the front cover gaskets are a known maintenance point on this engine family, fitting the correct original equipment gasket restores a clean, leak-free seal that matches the factory surface and thickness. Whenever the front cover is removed for timing chain or seal service, replace this gasket as a set with its companion center and left gaskets, clean all sealing faces, and torque the cover fasteners in the proper sequence so the cover seats evenly without distortion.
