• Description:

  This Genuine Ford control module is the anti-lock brake system control unit for 2007-2009 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models with the 5.4L V8. The module is the electronic brain of the ABS and stability system: it reads the wheel-speed sensors, commands the hydraulic control unit to modulate brake pressure during hard or slippery stops, and manages traction and stability functions to keep the vehicle controllable. When this module fails it typically sets ABS and traction-control warning lamps, disables anti-lock and stability assistance, can cause erratic or self-applying ABS activity, and may store communication or internal fault codes that will not clear. Corrosion, thermal stress and internal circuit failure are common causes on high-mileage trucks. Installing the correct genuine module restores factory braking electronics with the proper connector, mounting and configuration for these applications.
