• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford side marker lamp assembly used in the rear bumper of the 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX, catalogued as Side Marker Lamp and also listed as Lamp Assembly. It is the sealed red lens marker and reflector unit that presses into the bumper cover opening and provides the legally required side visibility and retroreflective return at the rear corner of the vehicle. The lens, housing, bulb socket and pigtail are supplied as one serviceable assembly, so the whole unit is replaced rather than repaired. Owners come to this part after a low speed rear or corner impact cracks the lens, after the lens fades, chalks or hazes from sun exposure until the red is washed out, after moisture gets past the seal and the lamp fills with condensation and corrodes the socket, or after the marker simply stops lighting and the vehicle fails inspection.
