  This genuine Ford Motorcraft GL-928 alternator is the 150 amp factory charging unit for a broad group of 2007 through 2014 Ford and Lincoln models including the Edge, Taurus, Fusion, Five Hundred, and Lincoln MKS, MKX, and MKZ along with the Mercury Sable and Montego, generally with the 3.0L, 3.5L, and 3.7L V6 engines. The alternator converts engine rotation into regulated voltage that recharges the battery and supplies the ignition, fuel, lighting, climate, and electronic control systems.
