This Genuine Ford Motorcraft CV axle assembly, listed in the catalog as Shaft Front Axle, transmits drive torque to the left front wheel on four wheel drive trucks and full size SUVs, its sealed constant velocity joints flexing with steering angle and suspension travel. It is designed for 2007 through 2015 Ford F-150, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models built with 4WD, excluding the SVT Raptor, and installs on the left, driver side front. Owners commonly replace this halfshaft after hearing clicking or knocking during turns, feeling a vibration that intensifies under acceleration, or finding a torn CV boot that has thrown grease across the front differential and lower control arm.
