  This is a genuine Ford OEM windshield washer pump used across a broad range of 07-25 Ford and Lincoln vehicles including the Expedition and Navigator. The pump pressurizes washer fluid from the reservoir through the nozzles when commanded by the multifunction switch or rain sensor logic and uses an electric impeller driven by an internal DC motor. Common failure modes include impeller seizure from contamination in the reservoir, internal brush wear, and corrosion of the electrical terminals exposed to washer fluid spill.
