• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford exhaust manifold for the driver side (left hand), cataloged by Ford as Manifold Assy - Exhaust, fitting 2008-2019 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks powered by the 6.8L V10 three-valve gas engine. The manifold bolts to the left cylinder head and gathers the exhaust from that bank into the exhaust system while enduring high heat and constant thermal expansion and contraction. As with the passenger-side unit, these cast V10 manifolds are prone to warping and to broken or seized studs, and the tell-tale symptoms are an exhaust tick that is loudest at cold start and eases as the engine warms, the smell of exhaust in the engine bay, reduced power and economy, and occasionally a diagnostic trouble code from disturbed oxygen sensor signals. A new factory manifold re-establishes a flat, leak-free seal against the head and returns the engine to quiet, efficient running. This left-side manifold pairs with the right-side 7C3Z-9430-E and replaces earlier numbers CC3Z-9431-A and CC3Z-9431-B. Fit new gaskets and fresh fasteners where needed and torque to Ford specification during installation.
