  This is the genuine Ford cowl vent drain seal, cataloged as Seal - Cowl Vent Drain, for Ford E-Series Econoline vans including the E-350 Super Duty. It is a molded rubber seal that fits at the cowl vent and drain area between the base of the windshield and the plenum, sealing the joint so water shed off the windshield and cowl grille is channeled to drain overboard instead of leaking into the cowl, HVAC intake, or cab interior. Owners replace this seal when they find water intrusion at the cowl, dampness or a musty smell in the footwells, water entering the fresh-air blower intake, or when the original rubber has hardened, shrunk, torn or fallen out of its channel with age. Because it lives under the wiper cowl exposed to sun, heat and debris, the rubber eventually takes a set and stops sealing. This genuine part is molded to the correct profile so it snaps back into the factory channel and restores the original drainage path without trimming or adhesive shims.
