This Genuine Ford Motorcraft electric fuel pump and sender assembly mounts inside the fuel tank of the 2009-2014 F-150 and delivers pressurized gasoline from the tank to the engine while its integrated sending unit reports fuel level to the dash gauge. The module combines the turbine pump, strainer, pressure regulator and float-arm level sensor into one serviceable unit. A worn or failing pump commonly causes long crank times, hard starting, stalling under load, surging or hesitation during acceleration, a persistent whining noise from the tank, and an erratic or stuck fuel gauge reading. Restoring correct fuel delivery pressure and volume returns the engine to reliable starting and smooth running. As a factory Motorcraft component it matches the original electrical connector, mounting flange, lock ring and sender calibration for a direct fit. Inspect and renew the tank seal ring and lock ring during installation to prevent vapor leaks.
