• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Motorcraft lower control arm and ball joint assembly (MCSOE-145) is the front left, driver-side lower suspension arm for 2009 through 2014 Ford F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models in two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. The assembly includes the integrated lower ball joint, locates the front wheel, carries suspension and braking loads through its bushings, and provides the lower mounting pivot for the steering knuckle to maintain correct camber and caster. Symptoms of a worn arm or ball joint include clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven and accelerated front tire wear, and vibration felt through the wheel. Because this Motorcraft unit arrives as a complete arm with the ball joint pressed in, it restores factory front suspension geometry in one step and avoids servicing a separate joint. The passenger-side counterpart is frequently replaced at the same time to keep handling and tire wear balanced. Built to Ford original-equipment specifications for correct fit, load capacity and durability, it matches the bushing and ball-stud geometry of the factory component.
