  This genuine Ford front axle shaft is the driver's-side (left-hand) front halfshaft for the 2010-2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor with four-wheel drive. Ford lists it as an Axle Shaft, Front, and it is also cataloged as an Axle Assembly. The shaft carries drive torque from the front differential out to the wheel hub through inner and outer constant-velocity (CV) joints, allowing the driven front wheel to steer and travel over suspension movement while still delivering power in four-wheel drive. Because the Raptor sees hard off-road duty, the CV joints, boots, and shaft are heavily loaded; when a joint wears or a boot tears and loses grease, the driver hears a rhythmic clicking or popping in turns, feels vibration under power, sees grease slung around the inner fender, or notices a clunk on engagement. Fitting this correct left-front factory shaft restores smooth, quiet four-wheel-drive power delivery on the driver side. This is the left-hand shaft only; the right side uses its own opposite-hand part. The front axle/spindle retaining nut is a single-use torque-to-yield fastener and must be replaced with a new nut and torqued to specification rather than reused. Confirm the Raptor application and left-side position for your F-150 before installation.
