This Genuine Ford front drive axle shaft, cataloged as Motorcraft assembly TX-780, is the right-hand passenger-side half shaft for four-wheel-drive F-150 trucks, including the SVT Raptor. It carries torque from the front differential out to the front wheel through an outboard constant-velocity joint, an inboard plunging joint, and a splined shaft, with factory grease-packed boots that flex through steering and suspension travel while sealing out road grit and moisture. It fits 2010 through 2014 F-150 models in the right front position. Drivers replacing this part are commonly chasing a clicking sound during cornering, a vibration that builds with speed, or grease thrown from a cracked boot, all symptoms of joint wear or grease loss. A complete assembly restores smooth engagement and eliminates driveline noise more reliably than a boot-only repair on a joint that has already run dry. Manufactured to Ford OEM tolerances for a bolt-in fit.
