This genuine Ford Motorcraft accessory drive belt is the main six-rib serpentine belt that routes engine power from the crankshaft pulley to the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor on the 3.5L and 3.7L V6 engine family. It fits 2010 through 2019 Ford Explorer, Taurus, and Flex along with the Lincoln MKS and MKT that share the same platform drive layout. The belt uses a durable EPDM rubber construction with precisely molded ribs that grip the grooved accessory pulleys for quiet, slip-free power transfer across the full engine speed range. A worn or aging belt announces itself through chirping or squealing on cold startup, glazed or cracked rib surfaces, fraying edges, or intermittent loss of charging and cooling that can trigger a battery light or overheating. Because a single belt drives every front-end accessory, a failure leaves the vehicle without steering assist, charging, or coolant circulation, so replacement at the first sign of wear is important.
