• Description:

  Genuine Ford OEM positive crankcase ventilation valve for the passenger side of the 2010 through 2025 F-150, Bronco, Ranger, Aviator, Continental, and Navigator, supplied as an assembly that includes the integrated oil separator. This suffix supersedes the earlier AA5Z-6A666-D and crosses with Motorcraft EV-290. The PCV valve controls the flow of blow-by gases from the crankcase to the intake manifold for combustion, while the integrated oil separator catches the oil mist that would otherwise enter the intake tract and contaminate the air-fuel mixture. A failed PCV commonly presents as a rough idle, oil consumption that defies a leak inspection, or oil deposits at the throttle body and intake manifold. non-OEM PCV valves in this fitment frequently omit the oil separator function and allow heavy oil consumption through the intake tract. Confirm the existing valve carries the separator function before substituting a simpler non-OEM PCV. Sold individually as the complete assembly with separator.
