• Description:

  This genuine Ford overflow hose is the engine coolant recovery hose that connects the cooling system to the coolant reservoir and degas bottle on 2011-2014 F-150 trucks with the 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, cataloged by Ford as the Overflow Hose or Engine Coolant Overflow Hose. It carries coolant and vapor between the reservoir and the system as the engine heats and cools, allowing the cooling system to purge air and manage expansion so proper coolant level and pressure are maintained. When this hose cracks, splits, or its connections weep, the engine can lose coolant, run hot, leave puddles or dried coolant residue near the reservoir, or trigger low-coolant and overheat warnings, which is especially serious on the boost-generating EcoBoost engine. Replacing the hose with the correct OEM part restores the proper routing, diameter, and connector fit the factory intended. This is a direct-fit molded replacement. Inspect the quick-connect fittings and clamps and verify a secure, leak-free seal on both ends during installation, then bleed and top off the cooling system as required.
