Genuine Ford turn signal switch, Ford catalog name Switch Assembly Direction Indicator, also called the turn signal or combination lever, Motorcraft SW-6874, for 2011-2013 F-150 and 2011-2014 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks. This is the multifunction stalk on the left of the steering column that operates the turn signals, headlamp high beam flash and, depending on configuration, the hazard and lighting functions through a bank of internal contacts and the self cancel mechanism tied to the steering wheel. When it wears out, turn signals fail to cancel after a turn, work only when the lever is held, flash on one side only, or the high beam flash and signal functions become intermittent or dead. Supplied as a genuine Ford lever assembly matching the original mechanical action and electrical output, it mounts to the steering column and connects to the factory wiring for a direct replacement of a broken, worn or unresponsive original stalk. Verify your column and connector style match before installing.
