  This genuine Ford reading lamp assembly bezel, also referred to as the roof bezel, is the overhead interior trim panel that frames the front reading and dome lamp assembly on the 2011 through 2015 Ford Explorer equipped with a sunroof. Finished in charcoal, it is the molded bezel that surrounds the map and reading lights and courtesy lamp at the front of the headliner and is supplied for vehicles that have the sunroof overhead console configuration. Owners replace this bezel when it has been cracked, broken, scratched, stained, or discolored, when the retaining tabs have snapped so the panel sags or falls, or when it was damaged during headliner, sunroof, or overhead console service. Because the panel sits as a visible interior focal point directly above the front occupants, a damaged or faded bezel is an obvious cosmetic flaw. As a genuine Ford part, it matches the original contour, lamp openings, mounting tabs, and charcoal color so it clips into the headliner in the correct position and aligns with the reading lamp assembly without the fit and color mismatches of generic replacement panels.
