  This genuine Motorcraft fuel and water separator filter is a diesel fuel filter element for the 6.7L Power Stroke turbo-diesel in 2011 through 2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks. It filters abrasive contaminants from the diesel fuel and separates water out of the fuel so that clean, dry fuel reaches the high-pressure common-rail injection system. The 6.7L Power Stroke uses a two-filter arrangement, and keeping this element fresh is essential because contaminated or water-laden fuel is a leading cause of injector and high-pressure pump damage on these engines. A clogged or saturated filter typically produces symptoms such as power loss, hard starting, rough idle, hesitation under load, reduced fuel economy, and a water-in-fuel warning lamp.
