• Description:

  This is a genuine Motorcraft HVAC air inlet door actuator for 2011-2016 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks, cross-referenced to Ford OEM part BC3Z-19E616-F. This electric geared motor and linkage assembly drives the fresh-air/recirculation inlet door in the HVAC housing, switching the system between drawing outside air and recirculating cabin air, and it also serves temperature and mode blend doors on these applications. It is commanded by the climate control head and returns door position on automatic systems. When it fails you commonly hear repeated clicking or knocking behind the dash, notice the system stuck in recirculate or fresh mode, get windows that will not defog, or lose control of airflow and temperature blend. As a factory Motorcraft motor-and-linkage assembly it fits the original connector and mounting location for a direct installation, restoring proper door actuation and quiet operation. Verify the connector and door position against the actuator you are removing, then sweep the climate controls through their full range after fitting so the unit recalibrates to its stops.
