• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Motorcraft steering drag link is the long connecting rod that ties the pitman arm at the steering gear to the front steering linkage on 2011 to 2016 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with four-wheel drive. It carries the full steering effort from the gearbox to the axle-mounted tie rod, so its integrity is central to keeping the truck pointed straight and responding predictably to the wheel. As the internal joints wear, drivers feel loose or sloppy on-center steering, wander that requires constant correction, a shudder or death-wobble tendency over bumps, and knocking from the front axle. Fitting this OEM Motorcraft drag link restores solid steering control and removes the slop that accelerates tie rod and tire wear. It is engineered to factory length and joint specifications for the heavy-duty solid front axle; install new cotter pins in the castellated nuts and check front toe alignment after service to confirm correct steering geometry and even tire wear.
