  This genuine Ford center console latch is the armrest-lid catch mechanism for the flow-through center console on 2011-2016 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks, finished in adobe to match King Ranch and adobe interior trim. The latch engages the striker so the console armrest lid stays closed and releases with the push-button when the storage bin is opened. Over years of daily use the plastic latch fingers wear, crack or snap, leaving the lid rattling, popping open over bumps, or failing to stay shut. This factory replacement restores positive latching and the original push-to-open action. It installs into the existing console lid assembly and is keyed to the flow-through console body style, so verify that your truck uses the flow-through console rather than the full floor console, and confirm the adobe color against your interior before ordering. Using the genuine Ford latch ensures the catch geometry, spring tension and mounting bosses match the factory console exactly, avoiding the misalignment and premature failure common with substitute catches.
