  This genuine Ford steering wheel is the urethane wheel for 2011-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.2L gas V8, 6.8L V10, or 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, in the configuration without multifunction switches but equipped with cruise control switches on the spoke. Ford catalogs it as a Wheel Assembly Steering; the molded urethane rim and structural armature carry the driver airbag, horn contact, cruise control switch wiring, and clock spring interface and provide the hub that splines to the steering column shaft. Owners replace the wheel when the urethane rim is cracked or worn smooth, when the cruise switch mounts or wiring are damaged, when the armature is bent or the hub splines are worn after an airbag deployment or collision, or when a stripped center bolt makes the original unsafe to reuse. The wheel is retained by a single-use fastener: the steering wheel bolt must not be reused, and a new bolt torqued to the Ford specification is required on installation to guarantee clamp load on the column splines.
