  This Genuine Ford long inner drag link rod assembly fits 11-16 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, four-wheel drive, excluding Wide Track. It is a service supersession that consolidates the earlier BC3Z-3304-A part number. The long inner drag link connects the pitman arm output to the steering knuckle through the cross-link geometry, transmitting steering input loads from the steering box into the wheel assembly. A worn drag link causes excessive steering wheel play, highway wandering, uneven tire wear, and clunking during steering reversals or over road imperfections. non-OEM replacements commonly use undersized ball studs and inferior boot rubber that fails rapidly under heavy duty service, leading to repeat repairs. This OEM drag link is sized for the factory stud taper at both ends and ships preassembled with the boots and grease in place. Install with the steering wheel centered, torque the cone nuts to the published specification, install new cotter pins where applicable, and have the toe and front end alignment reset by a qualified shop after the install to ensure correct tire wear and steering behavior.
