• Description:

  This genuine Ford windshield moulding is the driver-side left-hand A-pillar trim strip that finishes the seam between the windshield glass and the left front pillar on 2011 through 2019 Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor Utility, covering the 2.0L and 2.3L EcoBoost and 3.5L V6 applications. It seats along the outer edge of the glass to hide the urethane bond line and pillar joint while blocking wind noise, water and road debris and giving the A-pillar its clean factory look. Owners replace it when the original strip has cracked, faded, curled or lifted at the ends, was damaged during a windshield swap, or has started to whistle at highway speed and let water track down the pillar. Ford catalogs it as Moulding - Windshield, left driver side; it locates on the factory molded tabs and bonds to the pillar so it lines up with the roof and cowl trim.
