  This is a genuine Ford OEM Transceiver, the ignition immobilizer module, catalog part number 8A6Z-15607-A, base 15607. It is the antenna and read coil of the Ford SecuriLock passive anti-theft system (PATS) that encircles the ignition lock cylinder, reading the encrypted transponder chip in the key each time the ignition is switched on. It relays that signal so the module can confirm a valid key before the engine is allowed to start, which is what prevents the vehicle from being started by an unprogrammed or copied key. It fits 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta equipped with the 1.0L EcoBoost or 1.6L Sigma engine families.
