• Description:

  This is a genuine Motorcraft HVAC blend door actuator for the 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta climate control system. The blend door actuator is a small electric geared motor that drives the temperature blend door inside the heater and air conditioning case, metering how much airflow passes across the heater core to set discharge temperature. It responds to signals from the dash climate controls and, on automatic systems, reports door position back to the module. When this actuator fails you typically hear a repetitive clicking or knocking behind the dashboard, lose control of hot or cold air, get one temperature stuck regardless of the setting, or find the driver and passenger sides no longer match. As a factory Motorcraft component it plugs directly into the original wiring connector and mounting location on the HVAC housing, restoring correct calibration and quiet operation without modification. Verify the connector pin count and door location against your original before installing, and cycle the climate controls through their full range after fitting so the actuator relearns its stops.
