  This is the genuine Ford rear lower coil spring insulator for the 2011-2019 Ford Flex. It is the molded rubber pad that seats between the bottom of the rear coil spring and the lower spring perch on the rear suspension, and it works together with the matching upper insulator to cushion the coil spring where it contacts the metal seat. By isolating the spring from the mounting perch, the insulator prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, damps road noise and vibration, and protects the seat and spring end from chafing and corrosion.
