Genuine Ford EGR lower tube gasket for 11-19 F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke turbo diesel engine. This gasket seals the lower connection between the EGR valve and the EGR cooler and is supplied by Ford as the current replacement for the multiple earlier part numbers that have been consolidated into this service revision. It supersedes BC3Z-9E464-E, CG-779, CG-814, and FC3Z-9E464-A, which spans the entire production range of the 6.7L from the engine's introduction through the second-generation update. As with any exhaust gasket, this seal should be replaced any time the EGR tube is disturbed because the original gasket loses its seal once compressed, and reusing it almost always results in an exhaust leak code shortly after reassembly. The Ford-supplied gasket carries the correct bolt-hole pattern, material composition, and dimensional accuracy to seal reliably at the EGR cooler outlet under the heat and pressure cycling characteristic of the application.
