• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford door lock actuator motor and latch assembly for the front right (passenger) door, fitting 2011-2020 Ford Explorer, Ford Taurus, Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Lincoln MKS models equipped with passive entry and push-button keyless ignition. The actuator integrates the electric lock and unlock motor directly into the door latch, so it controls locking, unlocking and the door-ajar switch input for the body control module. Common failure symptoms include a door that will not lock or unlock from the key fob or interior switch, intermittent operation in cold weather, a persistent door-ajar warning, interior lights that stay on, or a grinding or buzzing noise from inside the door when the lock is cycled. Because the motor and latch are serviced together, replacing this unit restores both the mechanical latching and the power-lock function.
