This is the front steering damper (stabilizer) for 2011 through 2025 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 2WD (RWD) trucks with the Twin I-Beam front suspension, excluding Wide Track Front Suspension applications. It supersedes the earlier BC3Z-3E651-A and several HC3Z-3E651 suffixes (-A, -C, -E) as well as ASH-25796. The damper is a hydraulic shock-style component mounted between the front axle and the frame; it damps lateral steering inputs and reduces wheel shimmy. Use this part when the original is leaking oil, has lost damping force (allowing wheel shimmy or front-end bounce), or has been bent in an off-road event. This is the RWD twin-I-beam version specifically. The related part KC3Z-3E651-G is for 4WD F-250/F-350 SD and for the Wide Track Front Suspension F-450/F-550 monobeam, and KC3Z-3E651-K is for newer 23-25 AWD/HD-suspension applications.
