• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford differential pinion seal for the Sterling 10.50-inch and 11.60-inch rear axles used on 2011 to 2025 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 single-rear-wheel trucks. The seal fits around the pinion yoke at the front of the differential and keeps gear oil contained while preventing dirt and water from entering the axle. Owners replace it when they notice gear oil weeping or dripping from the nose of the differential, a stain on the driveshaft or yoke, or a low axle-fluid level, all of which can lead to bearing and gear damage if ignored. This is a single-use component that must be replaced once the yoke is removed and never reinstalled, and proper installation requires seating the new seal to the correct depth and observing the factory pinion-nut and preload procedure to avoid leaks or bearing failure. Confirm your axle size and that the truck is single-rear-wheel before ordering, since dual-rear-wheel and other axles use different seals.
