The element installs in the engine oil filter housing and strains the full flow of engine oil, removing the metal particles, soot, and grit that accumulate during operation so the bearings, oil pump, and valvetrain receive clean lubricant. Clean oil and stable oil pressure are what keep an engine running quietly and lasting, and this kit is engineered to deliver that protection at the correct flow and bypass pressure.
