This is a genuine Ford front axle locking hub assembly, the electric and automatic locking hub, for 2011 to 2025 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks with four-wheel drive, superseding the earlier BC3Z-3B396-A number. The locking hub engages and disengages the front wheel from the axle shaft to enable or release four-wheel drive, and as an OEM unit it provides the correct internal mechanism and interface for reliable engagement.
