  This genuine Ford air conditioning compressor discharge line routes high-pressure refrigerant from the A/C compressor outlet toward the condenser on the 2012-2014 Ford Focus with the 2.0L DOHC engine built to 02/04/2013. The rigid-and-hose tube assembly carries hot, high-pressure refrigerant vapor and includes the factory fittings and O-ring seal lands needed for a leak-free connection. When this line corrodes, cracks, or develops a leaking crimp or fitting, the system loses refrigerant charge and the air conditioning blows warm, cycles rapidly, or stops cooling entirely; an oily residue at the joints is a common sign of a slow leak.
