• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford lower radiator hose for the 2012-2018 Focus with the 2.0L engine. The lower hose returns cooled coolant from the bottom of the radiator back to the engine water pump inlet, completing the cooling loop so the pump can recirculate coolant through the block and head. The molded EPDM hose is pre-formed to route around the front of the engine and seat securely on the radiator and pump necks, and many lower hoses include an internal support to resist collapse under pump suction. Age, heat, and pressure cycling harden and crack radiator hoses, and a failing lower hose that leaks, splits, or collapses can cause rapid coolant loss, overheating, or poor circulation, so owners replace it when they find weeping at the clamps, bulges, soft spots, or a coolant puddle under the front of the car.
